Totally Tubular Festival Sarasota reviews
need more winwood
"Steve Winwood receives 5 stars!!!! His incredible voice and musical abilities never fail to impress. Hearing "Can't find my way home" was an absolute delight. He easily could have headlined the show solo and packed the stadium. The crowd was clearly more enthusiastic for him. Steve, please organize a tour for yourself!!!!"
"Totally Tubular Festival was enjoyable, but felt like a SANTANA VEGAS EXPERIENCE!!! It was overly theatrical and lacked the raw percussion jams, opting instead for uninspired preplanned solos. While there were some highlights, they were consistently interrupted just as they built momentum. Carlos deserves five stars for his exceptional guitar skills and his uplifting message. Despite his emphasis on love and kindness, he missed a golden opportunity to reunite with Winwood on stage for "Why can't we live together", a song that perfectly encapsulates his message. It's puzzling that this collaboration wasn't included in the setlist. The lack of an encore was surprising; we were ready to leave, but would have stayed for more Winwood!!!"
